FORMAT:
Time:  Qualify at 8:10pm SA   (GMT+2)
Qualify: Race 1    '20 minute unlimited laps'
           Race 2    'Superpole= 1 out lap followed by 1 hot lap'

REMEMBER........1 POINT FOR POLE POSITION


Race 1:  14 Lap    straight sprint with no pit stop

Race 2:  14 Lap   with 1 pit stop= At least 4 tires MUST be changed. Pit stop must be completed at least 3 minutes before the end of the race.

Both races will have a standing start.

Ballast will be added after each round, not each race.

Oh Kevin, for the superpole, are we going to do our laps one by one like KyuKyu mentioned? I think it's really cool, extra pressure when you know everyone is looking at you drive!

Final car selection needs to be made by Monday please guys.
If we have 1 driver on track to qualify, it will take a long time to get through all the cars, that's the down side to single qualifying.

What are your laptime predictions here? I only did a short stint in P1 and managed high 55's on softs and mid/high 56's on meds. Didin't work a lot on the setup though.

Well, so far, only a few drivers have been on the track and the times are more or less 56's. None of the really fast guys have been on track yet.

Paul, the F40GTE was chosen by RaZoR about 4 days before you asked for it. I have to go by the first come, first serve rule. Thats why I ask the drivers so many times to book their car early.

Sebring will be loaded on the server straight after the DTM race tomorrow evening.

The Ferrari F40 is free if you still want it!

Kevin - please note that you'll need to change the GDB file for the track if you want to drive the whole 25 mins (about 13 laps). With current GBD the race will end after lap 11. Just change these lines:
RaceLaps = 999
RaceTime = 25
RaceTimeScaled = 25

Please note that everybody would have to download and install new gdb file before the race o they'll be kicked as cheats. It would really suck if we did only 11 laps as the strategy (as limited as it is with such a short distance) would be non-existent. Everybody would go on softs.

OK. I have decided to just calculate the race on laps. I changed the race distance this morning to 14 LAPS. That's about as close as is.
Thanks anyway for the heads up. I would have preferred the race to be 20 laps, but some drivers can't stay that late. Trying to time it so everyone can take part.

Sorry for being so late as always, but here is my car choice: Mclaren F1 #41

The big day has arrived! Remember, you will score points even if you come last. It is VITAL to finish the race. Should you crash, try to make it to the pits to repair and get back out there. The season is long and anything can happen. Every point counts!
I hope you all have a great season and I know we are in for some titanic battles.
The race is not won on the first corner, take it easy and obey the rules. I am going to be strict to be fair to all of you.
Video highlights will be made from each race featuring all drivers.

Dont forget, you get a point for pole position for each race! Might help at the end.

One thing about pit exit - do not cut through the poles, the exit is after the last one. If you do you can save a couple of seconds but you exit right in the braking zone in the VERY fast part of the circuit and make grave danger to other cars. I suggest everybody who cut the pit exit to gain time be given 10s added to their race time..

I will be checking the replay of all pit stops. Guys, follow the rules or.........

If I have my times right I should have a bit more time to get some laps before we go into qualifying
